Their mehfil style "Baitahks" have acquired not only a distinctive identity but also a much sought after position of credibility amongst aficionados of Indian Classical Arts.

Nabanita along with Admiral BK Rakshit & Mrs. Suchitra Rakshit and Mrs. & Mr. Okhde founded an artistes' forum 20 years ago by the name of "Sangeet Sandhya"  to create awareness and appreciation of Indian Classical music.  More than 200 events are organized so far by "Sangeet Sandhya" during last 20 years in clockwise precision where several artistes of international eminence and local talents enthralled the audience of Delhi NCR.
